LED String Lights

LED string lights are a modern innovation to light technology. LED means "light emitting diodes". It is a kind of semi-conductor that creates light when it comes in contact with an electric current. This modern light bulb has no filament and is more energy efficient.

Brighter Colors

They are more colorful compared to the regular string lights. LED emits light that is bright and very clear. Colored LED lights shed off light that is bright in color and very crisp. They will add color to any space where they are hung. Colored LED lights also do not fade easily even after they are used outdoors for long periods of time they will still give off bright colored light when turned on.

Highly Durable

They are, without a doubt, more durable than ordinary string lights. They last longer than the ordinary string lights even when they are placed outdoors. The maximum life span of LED light bulbs is 11 years which is a very long time. In the past, you are lucky if your string lights will last for a year especially if they are used outdoors. Now, with LED lights, you can use them longer without having to replace bulbs constantly. It is also a common problem for string lights to get busted if they are not used for a long time but LED string lights do not have that same problem. You can put them away in a sealed box and still be able to use them after a few months or a year.

Cost Efficiency

They are more cost efficient because they do not have to be replaced after just a few months or a year. They may cost more than the ordinary lights when you buy them but they are very durable. You will be saving money by using them because you do not have to replace them for a long time.

Power Efficiency

The best advantage of using them is their power efficiency. They consume less power when turned on compared to regular lights. They have a rating of 80% in power efficiency. This means that a good 80% of the power that passes through them gets converted into light energy. Only a small portion of the power that it consumes gets wasted. A huge part of it is turned into light energy.
